This is Daytona Beach , The world's most famous Beach!
The Daytona Beach area is well known for its 23 miles of sparkling, white-sandy beaches that span from
Ormond-by-the-Sea to the quaint fishing village of Ponce Inlet. At low tide, area beaches can expand up to
500 feet wide and are conducive to sandcastle building, cycling, jogging, fishing or just relaxing in the sun.
The area's mild climate, which boasts an average annual air temperature of 70.3 degrees (21 degrees Celsius),
allows families on vacation to enjoy boating, diving, surfing, jet skiing and other watersports and beach
activities throughout the year.
This is "the" Daytona !!!! SpeedWay Avenue, that runs infront of the track, gets very heavy traffic, during the Main Race events, like the Daytona 500 or the 24Hr endurance races.
The "World's Most Famous Beach" is Daytona Beach. Its 23 miles of beautiful white sand beaches
are famous the world over dating back from the very early 1900's when automobiles were first raced on the beach.

Today driving on the hard-packed sand is allowed only on an 18-mile stretch of the beach during daytime hours
and speeds are only 10 miles per hour. Five miles of beach are now reserved for visitors who wish not
